Pros and cons of Grammar Up : 1800 Questions app for iPhone and iPad

Grammar Up : 1800 Questions app good for

I dont know why are others are whining but I think the app is what it says in description. Why do people whine about what its not? Its practice tool people. Not teaching material. Its aim is to revise again and again the rules of the grammar that you have learned in school. If you want to learn the grammar rules, go a pick up a good book and come back to this app for revision and practice.
The app is very well designed and is a great tool to revise your grammar rules. the test format is nice and progress meter is an awesome feature. I m going to buy the full version since it has 1800 questions
I like the app! It provides me with a challenge:learning stuff the hard way. Everyone that gave it a bad review has to be enough to already know what they are trying to teach you. I think it goes along with the whole learn from your mistakes thing. Im getting better grades in school. So stop complaining!
I really like answering the questions. All of them are ver useful to improve English grammar.
Its really fun! It shows you your mistakes, to review them. It really helps you keep learning, to sound more articulate! I love apps like this. This is a really good one! Get it right away!
I think it goes over the main grammatical errors that people make. It is at a high elementary school level and low middle school grades 3,4,5,6,and 7 should consider using it to help their grammar and older students should refresh their memory with it

Some bad moments

This app is obviously not designed by a native English speaker, for it is flawed with mistakes in the application of the spoken language. Some of the example sentances are incorrect, bearing no syntactic relation to the words being used, and frankly, just doesnt make any sense!
Good This app is beautifully designed, has zippy navigation, and functions great. Not so good There are grammar errors in a number of the questions in additon to punctuation problems, poor sentence structure, and weak word choice. I am not the language police (there are probably errors in this very review), but it is ironic and disappointing to such problems in something that people use as an educational language tool. This app is so beautifully designed. I am hopeful they care enough to fix the content.
This appl is very helpful; however, it doesnt explain why your answer is wrong. I believe that for it to be completly helpful, it should provide some grammatical rules to explain the errorneous character of wrong answers.
Stay away! I get the feeling that some of the positive reviewers are makers of this software. If I could give it zero stars, I would. The layout of the testing is nice, but there are so many weaknesses with it. It gives you a definition of a noun, but does not give you an example. Then it test you on say noun usage and it says that two of the fives sentences will test you on the usage, but then it does not tell you which questions are being used for noun usage. I have to agree with another person, when you get an answer wrong, there is no explanation as to why you got it wrong. This application has a long way to go and it should be reviewed by an english professional or professor.
The developers did a poor job on this app. It is filled with grammatical errors. It doesnt give examples to help users understand. Its almost like someone put this together just to get some money! A professional developer wouldnt allow an inferior product such as this to be released. Next time they should get an English teacher to review the questions. See it for yourself then delete immediately!!!
I own better language apps that help you understand grammar by explanation. Unfortunately, this app has NO EXPLANATION OR EXAMPLES. Every test question should have a brief blurb on what makes it the best choice, rather than assuming it sounds best. In addition, a program on proper grammar should not have grammatical ERRORS. You cannot trust a company who doesnt go through their product to correct mistakes. Overall, I would not invest $$ in the full version. Its an app with various tests without explanation - and every teacher knows that if you dont explain or show examples, then a student doesnt learn.
